Golf Australia Express : September 2014
the gear M IZUNO has made serious ground with its drivers in recent years. Its latest release – the JPX-850 driver – continues the trend, with what is arguably the company's best Big Dog yet. Jumping into the 'bells and whistles' philosophy, the latest addition has a sliding adjustable-weight system (a new generation Fast Track) as well as three weight ports, which allow a player to set up for a fade or draw, and has a range of lofts from 7.5 to 11.5 degrees. With 10 settings to choose from (4 neutral, 3 draw, 3 fade), players can find their perfect launch and spin combination. And the striking blue 440cc head of the JPX- 850 certainly stands out in a crowd. “The genius of the new Fast Track is that it adds the dimension of launch angle and spin rate. Now we’re truly in control of maximising all aspects of their ball flight off the tee,” Mizuno vice-president of product, Chuck Couch said.
