THETOUR WHILEAustralians had a great year on the PGA Tour, few could argue that the season belonged to Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy. The Ulsterman snatched back the world No.1 mantle from our own Adam Scott, yet it was his remarkable winning streak over a month during the northern hemisphere summer that placed an exclamation mark on McIlroy's season. He recorded three wins in as many starts over four weeks, including The Open Championship, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship.
