Golf Australia Express : OTG Express 138
Available April; RRP: $34.95 (JPX, per dozen); $69.95 (MP-X and MP-S); mizuno.com.au BALLS FOR ALL SWINGS MIZUNO JPX, MP-X & MP-S GOLF BALLS the GEAR M IZUNO is about to launch to the Australian market a new range of golf balls to cover all swings and player’s needs. The new JPX ball features a ‘Dimple- Cluster’ design, which is the result of a three-year study into the descent phase of ball flight. In tandem with the Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Mizuno’s ball engineers found by focusing on dimple performance in the ‘descent phase’, they could effectively extend airtime and overall distance. The smaller, micro-dimples within the JPX’s cluster pattern take effect at slower speeds – as the ball transitions to descent. The MP-X ball has been unveiled to help Mizuno expand its use amongst the next generation of Tour players and elite amateurs. The 4 piece construction features a dual core design, which reduces spin from the driver – suited to more powerful ball strikers. The third new ball release from the company is the MP-S. The 2015 edition features a larger inner core and thinner urethane cover – adding yards to the long game of players with mid to high swing speeds. OTG
