SHARK’S QANTAS CLINIC TWO-time major champion Greg Norman provided the experience of a lifetime and shared some of his golfing expertise exclusively with Qantas Golf Club members last week. Qantas Golf Club, launched in December last year, is an online club providing Frequent Flyers access to tee times at more than 90 courses, exclusive golf events, tournaments and golf holiday packages, all while earning Qantas points. The Shark hosted an intimate golf clinic with Qantas Frequent Flyers at Sydney’s New South Wales Golf Club before Qantas Golf Club members were able to put their new skills to the test over nine-holes, which included playing a hole with Norman. The pair, who are members of the Golf Australia national squad, each receive a $10,000 scholarship from World Golf Hall of Fame member Karrie Webb, which includes a trip to the United States to watch Webb play in the US Women’s Open and will be her guest for a week. Shin, 16, and a member of Sydney’s Concord Golf Club, finished with 771 points from her six counting events, which saw her finish 99 points ahead of Green. Victoria’s Julienne Soo was third, a further 77 points back.
