Golf Australia Express : OTG Express 139
S IX LPGA Tour titles. Three European Tour titles. Three top 10 finishes in majors. World No.1. It’s the resume of the most seasoned of professionals, yet it belongs to a girl who isn’t even old enough to drive on her own yet. Lydia Ko is something extra special – a potential once-in-a-lifetime player who has all the tools to be at the top for a long, long time. Putting Inbee Park in the shade is no mean feat, particularly given Ko only turned professional 18 months ago. Just wonder what this 17-year-old wunderkind might be capable of. Wow. LYDIAKO WUNDERKIND RATING T HE American with claims on the title of being the LPGA Tour’s No.1 prospect became the real deal last year when she opened her major account at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. The LPGA couldn’t stand in Thompson’s way in 2011 when she demanded admission as a full professional on the tour, despite not yet being 18 years old at the time. And there are few who’ve managed to withstand the now 20-year-old Florida native when she’s at her best. Though Thompson has been slow to warm into the 2015 season, there’s little doubt that another big one is just around the corner. LEXITHOMPSON WUNDERKIND RATING
