Golf Australia Express : GA Express 217
I T SEEMS unfair that Thomas Pieters chose this club to break at the 2016 Open Championship, given it was the one that helped him finally reach the green with his seventh shot. But it was the wrong place at the wrong time for that unlucky iron, which was promptly snapped on his knee and the two pieces thrown into the nearest tree. THOMAS PIETERS I S KYLE Reifers too powerful for his own good? Perhaps, given he snapped the head off his driver during a routine tee shot at the 2012 Crowne Plaza Invitational. Reifers thumped his tee shot 315 yards and into the fairway but had to send for an emergency replacement after the head quit its job at impact. KYLE REIFERS WATCH IT HERE WATCH IT HERE
