World No.1 Johnson pulled the pin on Houston, content in his preparation after chalking up yet another win at the Match Play Championship. And then there’s our own Adam Scott, the 2013 champion, who’s taking on a pre-Masters schedule he’s never embarked upon before, both through circumstance and of his own choosing. Scott has chopped and changed his Masters lead-in with striking regularity over the years. Often giving himself the week off the week before a major, the Aussie hasn’t been seen at the Houston Open since 2010. And, strangely, this six-year absence came after playing SCOTT IS TAKING ON A PRE-MASTERS SCHEDULE HE’S NEVER DONE BEFORE
