Thankfully, the Aussie was good enough to recover, recording his second victory on the PGA Tour and saving the engraver from severe embarrassment. RICKIE Fowler won The Players in 2015 after one of the most exciting final stretches of all time. The Californian went 6-under in his final six holes, which ultimately sent him to a playoff against Kevin Kisner and 2008’s champion Sergio Garcia. Both Fowler and Kisner birdied the par-3 17th to eliminate Garcia, before the 26-year-old Fowler knocked his wedge inside five feet to claim his second win on the PGA Tour.
