Golf Australia Express : GA Express 243
Y OU probably know Craig Perks more for his work on the Golf Channel over the years than for his success on the course, but the Kiwi’s lone PGA Tour win was an unforgettable one. The 2002 Players Championship saw him see off Stephen Ames by two strokes after chipping in for eagle at the 16th hole in the final round, draining a 25-foot birdie putt on the 17th island green and then chipping in for par at the last. Perks made only one cut in 2006 and 2007 before announcing his retirement. O RVILLE Moody had plenty of success in the twilight of his career once he’d moved onto the Senior PGA Tour, but in the years he was a part of the main show he tasted victory just once.
