Golf Australia Express : GA Express 243
Y OU’LL still find Chez Reavie plugging away on the PGA Tour, where he’s played 13 events this season for one top 10 and seven missed cuts. But the American looked like he could have been anything when he snapped up the RBC Canadian Open as a 25-year-old. Almost 10 years later he’s still waiting for that second PGA Tour trophy, despite coming very close at the 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship. I T’S appropriate that Hudson Swafford secured his first PGA Tour win this year at the CareerBuilding Challenge, because the 29-year-old has made a career out of being decidedly average. After turning pro in 2012, the American had yet to pull off a top three result on the PGA Tour until he fronted up for the new season and went ‘bang'. He missed three consecutive cuts afterwards, and while there’s every chance he may never win again, there’s plenty of good golfers who’d kill for that one PGA Tour victory. CHEZ REAVIE HUDSON SWAFFORD
