Golf Australia Express : GA Express 243
THE NATIONAL GOLF CLUB (Old Course) 139-METRE, PAR-3 7TH HOLE T HE stunning topography enhanced by magnificent coast- line views makes this this signature hole of The National’s Old course and one of the most photographed one-shot- ters in Australia. Club selection, no matter what tee you play from, is critical as the massive green is incredibly wide, while any shot falling short or flying long or left of the green is best forgotten. The deep bunker at the rear of the putting surface should be avoided and a shot to the wrong side of the spine, which divides the green into two sections, will generally lead to a three-putt. Playing into the prevailing wind, take an extra club (or two) and swing with ease. E australia'sfinestholes FLY OVER THIS BRILLIANT HOLE IN THIS VIDEO. WORDS & PHOTOGRAPHY BY BRENDAN JAMES
