Golf Australia Express : GA Express 272
T AYLORMADE has set out to deliver a driver face that counteracts golfers’ two most common misses: A low, heel strike causing a slice and impact high on the toe, which typically produces a hook. Featured in the new M3 and M4 drivers, the company’s ‘Twist Face’ overcomes the ball flight tendencies through a twisted open club face in the toe, adding loft and helping to straighten the ball flight. The face is twisted the opposite way in the heel area to deloft and close the face. Both models also feature a reinforced ‘Hammerhead’ slot in the sole to allow thinner and lighter club faces that produce higher ball speeds and a larger sweet spot. The M3 is available in 460cc and 440cc models and features a ‘Y-Track’ adjustability system offering 22-grams of moveable weight and over 1,000 centre of gravity (CG) configurations. While the M4 is engineered for improved forgiveness and outstanding sound and feel thanks to ‘Geocoustic’ technology and is offered in a standard and a draw- biased D-Type models. ► Straight with a twist THE GEAR TAYLORMADE M3 AND M4 DRIVERS SEE HOW RORY MCILROY, JASON DAY, DUSTIN JOHNSON, JUSTIN ROSE & JON RAHM REACT TO TAYLORMADE'S TWISTFACE TECHNOLOGY.
