THE MOMENT Scott heads six U.S Open qualifiers AFTER months of uncertainty, Adam Scott has finally earnt his ticket to the 118th US Open and will ensure his remarkable streak of starts at the majors extends beyond 67. Scott, who finished T10 at the 36-hole qualifying event in Ohio, has played every major since the 2001 Open Championship. But the 2013 Masters champion was in serious danger of failing to compete at Shinnecock Hills after his world ranking had slipped outside the top 60. "It's is a nice streak to keep going; it'd be better if I win the US Open," said Scott, who qualified on the number. “I'm playing all these majors to try and win them, not just to show up.” Aaron Baddeley also shared 10th place with Scott and will join him in New Jersey. So too will fellow Aussies Matt Jones, Jason Scrivener, David Bransdon and Lucas Herbert, who each found success via their own sectional qualifiers. E
