THE MOMENT Baddeley is hanging on This week’s Web.com Tour Championship decides the fate of players hoping to earn a place on the PGA Tour next year. And while Matt Jones and Cameron Davis have secured their playing rights for 2018/19, fellow Aussies Curtis Luck and Aaron Baddeley face a nervous week as they attempt to claim one of the 25 cards on offer. Sitting in 16th place, Luck would be unfortunate to miss out on a promotion, while Baddeley finds himself in a far more precarious situation. The Victorian currently sits in 20th place with earnings of $34,882 from the previous three finals events. The five previous players finishing the finals in 25th place have collected between $32,206 and $40,625 from the four playoff events, meaning Baddeley likely needs to make the cut and add to his tally to guarantee a return to the PGA Tour.
