Golf Australia Express : GA Express 306
THE MOMENT Tiger Roars Tiger Woods is back in the winner’s circle after capturing the Tour Championship at East Lake on Sunday. The ‘Big Cat’ went 1,876 days between victories (2013 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational) and was nearly reduced to tears when the huge galleries stormed inside the ropes to march with him towards the 18th green. "I had a hard time not crying on the last hole; I still had shots to play so I had to suck it up,” Woods said. “But once I got the ball on the green I gave (caddie) Joey (LaCava) a high five because it was done." Woods reached 11-under-par to defeat Billy Horschel by two strokes and claim his 80th title on the PGA Tour. Jason Day tied for 18th in the elite 30-man field, while Cameron Smith (20th) and Marc Leishman (21st) rounded out the Australian contingent.
