TURKISH AIRLINES OPEN JUSTIN ROSE WINNING SCORE: 17-under-par, 267. EQUIPMENT NOTES • Like many players, Rose tweaks his setup depending on the course he faces each week. The Englishman reinserted his 5-wood and shuffled his long iron and wedge setup after opting for utility irons recently. Rose went from carrying P-790 2- and 3-irons and a P-730 4-iron with only three wedges, to a four-wedge setup with his 5-wood and more forgiving and powerful P-790 4-iron taking the place of the three long irons. • In addition to using multiple iron models, the World No.1 incorporates two different shaft models in his iron set. Rose has long been a devotee of the extremely stiff KBS C-Taper shafts but transitions into the company’s Hi-Rev 2.0 in his 8- and 9-iron, to add spin and trajectory control in his shortest irons. • DRIVER: TaylorMade M3 460 with 8.5̊ loft, fitted with Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei CK Orange 60TX shaft. • 3-WOOD: TaylorMade M4 with 15̊ loft, with Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei CK Orange 80TX shaft. • 5-WOOD: TaylorMade M3 with 19̊ loft, with Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei CK Orange 80TX shaft. • IRONS: TaylorMade P-790 (4-iron) and TaylorMade P-730 Rose Proto (5-iron to 9-iron), with KBS Tour C-Taper 125 S+ (4-7) and KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 135X (8-9) shafts. • WEDGES: TaylorMade Milled Grind (48̊, 52̊ and 56̊) and TaylorMade Hi-Toe (60̊), with KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 135X shafts. • PUTTER: TaylorMade TP Red Ardmore 2. • BALL: TaylorMade TP5. THE FUN THING IS I STILL FEEL LIKE THERE'S IMPROVEMENT TO BE HAD AND THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. BAG WINNER'S
