THE W orld No.1 Justin Rose has again shown why he has reached the pinnacle of world golf in recent times. The Englishman dismantled the usually tough Torrey Pines in California to claim his 10th PGA Tour win last week. The 38-year-old has been peppered with plenty of questions over his decision to part ways with long-time equipment sponsor TaylorMade to join Japanese company Honma. But the change in clubs hasn’t appeared to slow Rose down. The Olympic Gold medallist added a sixth win and 21st top-10 in the past 14 months with his Farmers Insurance Open victory. Rose dedicated his win, which JUSTIN RISES ABOVE TORREY PINES broke Tiger Woods’ tournament record score by two shots, to regular caddie Mark Fulcher, who was replaced by Henrik Stenson’s former bagman Gareth Lord having recently undergone heart surgery. “Fooch, that was for you, mate,” Rose said. “It’s been an emotional week; I’m sure watching all weekend was harder than the heart surgery. I love you, and we’ll see you soon.” Moment
