LIST THE IT DIDN’T take long for Garcia to demonstrate his flamboyant style of golf to the world. The 19-year-old Spaniard chose the 1999 PGA to unleash his raw enthusiasm, broad grin and big game. These qualities endeared him to the hearts of on-lookers. Although he eventually finished second behind Tiger Woods, some of the breathtaking golf he played will be remembered for a long time. The most memorable was the shot in the final round on 16. Playing out from the base of a tree, he reached the green with an absurdly good shot and celebrated with a delighted jig across the fairway.
