Golf Australia Express : Issue 10
ITALIAN GOLFER Edoardo Molinari plays with plenty of emotion. It’s an endearing trait he brings to the course, and his fans—and fellow competitors—love it. So much so, several European players pushed for his selection on the 2010 European Ryder Cup team that ultimately went on to defeat the US at Celtic Manor. Even before the Ryder Cup, Molinari had experienced team golf success. A year earlier he partnered his younger brother, Francesco, to lead Italy to the country’s first World Cup. He’s won in Europe, South America, Africa and Asia including two victories on the European Tour last year. Now if you add to this list of impressive achievements a career-high 14th in the world rankings, you might say Dodo’s career is just taking off. LIST THE EDOARDO MOLINARI Born 11 February, 1981
