JULI INKSTER AZAHARA MUÑOZ AT 51, you could forgive Juli Inkster for putting her feet up and watching this one in comfort. After all she’s already contested eight Solheim Cups. But that’s not how she rolls. And if the contest gets close, this seven-time major winner, clutch putter, and tremendous competitor could well be the difference. Her experience will prove vital for younger team members and she’ll score points of her own. Dare we say it. Forget penciling in points for Juli—mark them in ink. DON’T BE fooled by her stature. Despite standing just 164cm, Azahara Munoz has got a huge game. The 23-year-old Spanish star in-the- making turned pro in 2009 and then won in her first event, the Madrid Ladies Masters. Shooting a remarkable 9-under in the final round and then eagling the first playoff hole to win showed us this pocket rocket thrives under pressure. Finishing second at the Ladies Irish Open at Killeen Castle last month, it’s clear the track suits her game, too.
