With the majority of the 6023-metre layout situated within RM’s main boundary— an area that features numerous changes in elevation due to distinctive dune formations—this course is widely regarded its crown jewel. EAST COURSE 6030m Influenced by his time with Dr MacKenzie, Alex Russell designed the East course, which was ready for play in 1932. Although considered the lesser of the two tracks, the East has played a major role in Australian Golf history with six of its prized holes used to make up RM’s world acclaimed composite course. Not bad at all for the club’s so-called ‘second track’.
