OUR PICK W E RECKON FABULOUS PHIL will earn his second Byron Nelson title this week. And while there are plenty of hopefuls to like in Texas, there’s no question the sometimes erratic but always entertaining 41-year-old is worth a punt. The 40-time PGA Tour winner—who won the Byron Nelson event in 1996—was at his thrill-seeking best in February taking out the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro Am after firing an amazing 8-under 64 in the final round. Lefty could be forgiven for being a little distracted during The Players after his induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame on Monday. That said, his T25 finish last week can hardly be called a disaster. And so the show must go on and this showman’s the best fit to end up as a lone star this week. OTG PHIL MICKELSON
