Golf Australia Express : Issue 39
OUR PICK I T’S HARD TO believe Yani Tseng’s just 23 years old considering her dominance of women’s golf. The powerhouse from Taiwan became the youngest golfer to capture five majors when she won the 2011 Women’s British Open at 22. And since that four-shot victory at Carnousite, the world No.1 hasn’t taken her foot off the pedal, winning another six LPGA titles to take her tally to 15 wins on that tour alone. Tseng returns to Locust Hill to defend the event she won by 10 shots last year and although we aren’t expecting the same kind of blowout, we think she’s an obvious favourite to fly away with a third Wegmans LPGA Championship. OTG YANI TSENG
