OUR PICK F OR TOO LONG NOW Lee Westwood has been the best player not to have won a major. The 39-year- old Englishman has had three third-place major finishes and two seconds, one which came at the 2010 British Open. With a world No.3 ranking and 39 worldwide wins under his belt—including 22 on the European Tour— Westwood has certainly been the form player of the three best seeds of late. He won the Nordea Masters in June and is coming into this week's major after a top 10 finish at the US Open and a T3 at the Masters. We know he has the game, composure and desire to win at Lytham.
