Golf Australia Express : Issue 48—PGA Championship
OUR PICK P ADRAIG HARRINGTON WILL BE looking to secure a second PGA Championship this week in South Carolina. After years of tinkering with an already successful swing, the 41-year-old is back enjoying a consistent season in 2012 with five top 10s on the PGA and European tours combined. And this week sets up well for the affable Irishman with the windy coastal Kiawah Island site sure to suit the two-time British Open champ. He’s in good form, too. In the three majors this year Paddy’s finished eighth (Masters), fourth (US Open) and T39 (The Open). Interesting to note he won the 1997 World Cup at Kiawah’s Ocean course with teammate Paul McGinley. Watch out, Paddy could sneak under many radars this week. OTG PADRAIG HARRINGTON
