Golf Australia Express : Issue 53
PLAYER THE THEREAREMANYDIMENSIONS to Ben Crane. He’s not defined solely as a PGA Tour golfer. Not only known as a slow player, either. (Although he is both those things). No, the 36-year-old Texas resident is so much more. He’s also the Tour’s No.1 class clown as highlighted by his series of comical and self-deprecating YouTube videos [see the latest below]. He’s a founding member of the Golf Boys boy band. He’s also a father and loving husband. And he has a huge heart. Crane is actively involved with several charities that help underprivileged and abused children, as well as others that house the homeless. With his wife Heather, Crane started the Ben & Heather Foundation to further “give back” to the less fortunate. Golf has given many professionals a style of life not afforded to most people. And it’s obvious Crane has an appreciation of that fact, as well as a healthy perspective many others miss. Mr Crane, we salute you. (Now get the lads back together and produce us another song. We need a laugh.) OTG WATCH BEN CRANE'S LATEST SILLINESS WATCH BEN CRANE'S LATEST SILLINESS TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS Watch the video left to see Ben Crane's charitable efforts in action.
