Golf Australia Express : Summer of Golf 2012-13
DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE FEDEX CUP PLAYOFFS SERIES WORKS? TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS ADAM SCOTT PLAYERS A USTRALIA’S HIGHEST-RANKED GOLFER, Adam Scott, returns home this summer looking to add to his two PGA Tour of Australasia victories—the 2005 Johnnie Walker Classic and the 2009 Australian Open. The world No.6’s form this season has shown us how hungry he is to taste success. Winless in 2012, the 32-year-old experienced a couple of close calls and plenty of solid performances. In July, Scotty came agonisingly close to having the claret jug in his hands at Royal Lytham and St Annes. The less said about that the better. There’s little doubt Scott has had a stellar year overall. He didn’t finish outside T15 in any major, amassing nearly half of his PGA Tour season earnings at golf’s four biggest events. From 16 starts, he posted 11 top 25s and 5 top 10s, including a 67 at the final round of the AT&T National to finish third behind Tiger Woods. Our boy Scotty is looking pretty hot this summer. Just follow the long line of admirers to get a glimpse. OTG
