Golf Australia Express : August 2013 - PGA Championship
AROUND THE TRAPS BUBBA-CRAFT LAUNCHED THE humble golf cart is so last week, with one US company launching a flying hovercart in Ohio. The vehicle hovers nine inches above the ground and can float on grass, water and sand, though it might annoy the group in front of you. Bubba Watson put his face to the project and seemed to enjoy the world's most unneccesary golf transport, saying he got his start in the game "driving the golf cart and then golf got in the way". LOUIS' LAYOFF FORMER Open Championship winner Louis Oosthuizen will skip the PGA Championship and a host of other tournaments over the next two months as he attempts to recover from ongoing neck, back and hip injuries. The South African pulled out of The Open after just eight holes because of the nagging complaints, and will now take a long layoff. "These are injuries that I have been managing for most of the season. It is important that I now give myself the proper time to recover," he said.
