Golf Australia Express : September 2013
In case you were wondering, Horschel’s sea-inspired trousers swept him into a tie for fourth place. T HERE ARE LESS BRASH examples of golfers putting style on par with substance whenever they step out. Adam Scott keeps it simple but rarely puts a pleat wrong when making selections from his suitcase, while high-end fashion labels are now fairway mainstays, with more Hugo Boss- sponsored golfers on our screens every time we switch on. Ian Poulter’s fashion label IJP Design also continually produces threads that turn heads, more often than not for the right reasons. Then there’s the polar opposite when it comes to stylish outfits, the John Daly and Loudmouth Golf crowd, proving once again that style really is a subjective thing. At the end of the day, does it really matter what we’re wearing when we step out on course? Probably not, but some will tell you that looking the part is the first step to a successful round. Look good, feel good, play good. It’s hardly science, but get it wrong and you’ll know all about it. Thanks sis. OTG TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS
