Golf Australia Express : November 2013
H ALLOWEEN might have already come and gone, but there is a whole family of ghosts still in town. TaylorMade has released its next incarnation of the popular Ghost Tour Series range of putters—the latest offering seven 'deadly' shapes to choose from. New to this series is a multi-material 8020 PureRoll insert (80% Surlyn/20% aluminum) to promote smooth roll, distance control and better feel. Each model also has a chrome stepless shaft. For the first time, golfers can upgrade to the same shaft in matte black for an additional $40, to help reduce glare. “Golfers will be blown away when they set each of these putters down for the first time, and again when they experience the performance,” Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s director putter development said. Can't say we disagree with that. OTG Ghost city TaylorMade Ghost Tour Series Putters AVAILABLE NOW $149; LENGTHS OF 33”, 34” AND 35”
