Golf Australia Express : GA Express 289
THE MOMENT U.S history for English Rose JUSTIN Rose produced a ball-striking masterclass Ben Hogan would have been proud of at Colonial Country Club to win the Fort Worth Invitational. The 37-year-old’s final round 64 held off a fast finishing Brooks Koepka and delivered his ninth PGA Tour win to tie Nick Faldo for the most victories by an Englishman since World War II. With his game in top form, the World No.3 now heads to The Memorial where he was victorious in 2010. He is one of four players who could finish the week as the World No.1, while also casting his eye ahead to Shinnecock Hills; a course that should suit the 2013 champion who is now well and truly among the favourites. “We have major season coming up now as well, and they're coming up thick and fast,” Rose said. “To be hitting a bit of form hopefully at the right time would be amazing.” E JUSTIN ROSE'S HISTORIC VICTORY IN PICTURES
