After battling leukemia not once, but twice in his lifetime—most recently after being diagnosed in early 2011—the burly and popular Victorian deserves a moment to savour a return to the fairways that wasn’t always assured. Green, gold or blue jackets are a non-factor when you’re laid up in a hospital bed, alone and wired up to a chemotherapy drip while your wife raises your baby, effectively on her own.
